Great performance and result. Pleased to see Mullen start and score as thought Hoban had been struggling recently.
Key now will be following this up with similar v Rovers. Rovers a better team than Shels though.

Finally an excellent team performance that we all know we are capable of with the squad we've got.
Had we played like that a bit more this season then there would be less calls for a change and more bums on seats at games.
Let's hope he's not left it too late in the league which is the big one. Rovers next in the league will be a big test for Higgins.

Excellent performance all round
They were clearly told out to go out and try and win the game and throw the shackles off.
Playing Patching further forward worked - he set-up both goals, as opposed to sitting deep and slowing everything down.
Could we play like this again now for a run of 3-4 games ? If we could, we could still win this league.

The team had a good balance again. McMillan and Mullan were excellent. As were many others. A performance like that proves we can do it. I think that’s the biggest frustration for me. Anyway, we advance and look forward to a similar outcome v Rovers.
