Plenty of goals in the other 3 ties, nailed on 0-0 tomorrow?

Interesting comments from Duff in the prematch press conference.

“Derry City has a better manager, better staff, a better squad, better team, better stadium, and better budget. You ask anyone at Derry, they would agree with me; it would be madness to write them off. But we’re not focused on that, what people say about them, what they say about us. What can we do about it? We can continue to be the hardest-working team in the league. The most tight knit group and we see where that can take us. We know Derry are certainly the favourites for both the league and the cup — that’s just a fact"

“Derry is too good a team to try and manipulate a referee the day before a game. Rob Harvey is one of the best referees in the league, if not the best, and I don’t think talking about cards will influence him"

The man could teach a course on taking the focus off your team. I would be understating it by saying I dislike his team, but I can see why his players want to play for him.

We're lucky to have him. Gives the league some credibility.

I will be live on Drive 105 from 5:15 with Eddie Seydak and Stephen McClelland bringing full match coverage. As well as the interviews already online with Coll, Higgins, Fats and Paul Dixon (DCFCW Manager) we will have analysis and debate around issues such as pathways for young players at the club, both sides in the summer transfer market, lack of goals and whatever pops into our heads. Tune it into your radio for the drive there and home. If at home join us for the entire broadcast.

Was reading online earlier some Shels fans saying they won't be too disappointed if they go out of the cup today, as it'll allow them to concentrate solely on the league run in.

Appreciate all us Derry fans are looking forward to a trip to the Aviva, but if it affected our ability to win the league, I know which I'd take.

There's only 2 more games left after tonight. Can't imagine it would make that much difference to the players.

I'd much prefer to be pushing for a double - maybe they sense a defeat and are trying to soften the disappointment!?

Strongest bench we've had in a long time. Any sort of win will do.

Well done lads, could have scored a few more. Expected to get bohs away anyway.

Our first 11 and bench look really strong for the first time this season. Hopefully this is the start of a good run.

Excellent performance tonight. Night and day difference from our last league game.

Hopefully that is run hitting a bit of form and playing better for the run in.

Shels terrible tonight, offered nothing. They are on a terrible run, they are there to be caught. Next game v Rovers is massive for us.

Hopefully they lose their game in hand in Galway Monday night.
