Hopefully docked points, a big fine or both.

And obviously someone needs to identify the hooligan and get it sorted.
You want Us to be docked points?
If its happening inside our ground then yes.

This keeps happening and its not a surprise.

Obviously if its outside the stadium then there's little we can do about it.

But if its inside the stadium Clubs should be punished until they sort it out.
Is it inside the Stadium though? What affect did previous fines have on them? Did it stop them lighting flares? Did it stop the anti social behaviour home & away?

Crazy idea I know, but has anyone ever considered posting a few stewards near the visiting team's bus?

There's never anyone around the car park exit either and that's often where the hoods come in if there's bother.

I think the fine is intended to spark a reaction from the Clubs. You'll never change the mindset of someone intent on causing trouble but if its happening inside the ground then the Clubs needs to accept responsibility and improve their security. So its really a way to get Clubs to take action rather than those responsible for the crime.

We're getting a bad reputation for this sort of shite now, and it's genuinely tarnishing the club.

It was bad enough that it happened when there were hardly any away fans at games due to limited capacity. But now we've a much bigger stadium to fill, and up to 500 away tickets to sell. So anything that deters away fans from travelling will cost us money as well as our reputation.

The club really need to step up here and get a grip of all of this quickly. There's too much silence when there should be very public action being taken IMO.

The club needs to come out and say something. They stayed silent during the Sligo incident, there is a video of an idiot throwing shit at a supporters bus and then this. Can't bury the head every time whilst holding secret meetings with a small section of supporters to say "don't do that again". Public action is needed.

Unfortunately I don't think anything will happen until we are sanctioned. Bit like the flares problem. Only way to guarantee that action is taken is to punish the offending clubs, and unfortunately that is us. Im sure we are not alone with this problem and the FAI should be taking this more seriously also. Trouble at games will only tarnish the whole sport causing families and away fans to avoid grounds and stay away.

Should be a life time ban for these wankers that spoil it for the rest of us- no exceptions. The club should've been out the next day condemning this and asking for information on the culprits.

If these 2 are found guilty, I hope that the club bans them from entry in the future.

Examples need to be made as a deterrent.

If young lads thought that throwing a few slaps at a travelling away fan might get them a ban from the Brandywell, then they might think twice. Although I appreciate that many won't think this way.

But this issue needs sorted ASAP. It seems to be getting out of hand and our reputation is going down the sh1tter.

It was a Derry City fan that was attacked, not a travelling supporter

Brandywell pride developed into a respected group of supporters as representatives of the club and the city but not as potent as in earlier years. Most of the supporters and the pride have moved on with less vocal power and less numbers to counter the small ‘look at me group’ trying to take centre stage that 90% of rest of fans hold in disgust. The majority want action to curb the adolescent group but the method is being left to the club, league and authorities which we know will be very limp. We as the majority also should take a stance and build an approach that will get the respect that will overpower what the teen group have to offer.
