It would be great to see Daniel Kelly get in the Dundalk 11 for this game.

On Drive 105 we'll be live from 7pm-10pm bringing you full match coverage. My co-hosts are Stephen McClelland and Eddie Seydak.

On Drive 105's Match Night Live's build to kickoff Daniel Kelly previews the game, Ben Doherty will tell you why his partnership with Michael Duffy has been so effective since he returned to the club. You'll hear from Jon Daly, Dundalk manager, and as we approach the 21st Anniversary of the game, Neil Bennett discusses his debut against Barcelona. (Full interview has been made available on YouTube at the following link https://youtu.be/swBIfZC_VIA?si=CBXZ3eHIylHGANL2)

At half time Stephen Parkhouse discusses his role as DoF at Institute and if his job at the MUFC Foundation is a conflict of interest.

You can tweet us at any time by sending it to @Drive105MNL. Tune is in on FM, DAB or online at home, work or on your journey to and from the game. We look forward to your company.

League is over and it was there for the taking. 10 draws and 5 defeats so far this season- not good enough. Rovers win their games in and their level with us and they've collapsed this year.

IMO even a cup win is not enough to keep Higgins in a job as they'll not fill the new stand next season watching some of the tripe served up this year - first half tonight was brutal.

Groundhog Day.

Chasing the league, we start one up front against the bottom team, and we give Kelly a start despite him offering us very little. Explain that one?

Dundalk did well first half, got their goal and will be pleased with a point.

Derry were the better team in the 2nd half, when we changed formation, but didn't take our chances when they came.

Still not too sure what our game plan is - do we practice lobbing high balls into a crowed box or does that just happen naturally? Hoban looks isolated and our tactics not getting the best out of him.

Davenport looks a tidy player. Very good touch and control. Duffy was bright but we didnt do enough when they doubled up on him. Mullan added some pace into our attack but missed two good chances to win it.

All eyes on tomorrow night now.

Some will try to put a positive spin on us getting a point out of this, and that's their perogative.

They'll say we should have had 3 goals in the 2nd half, but we didn't.

Apparently away to Shels wasn't a must win because there was "plenty of games and points left".

We are now another game closer to the end of the season, and more dropped points, against a team at the bottom. And we will drop more. So the chances of Shels dropping enough for us to win this title are fading rapidly.

I called the draw on Monday night as the end of our title challenge. But that's it cemented tonight. League is gone. We now are in a fight to stay ahead of Rovers imo.

As for tonight's game, how bad were our 2 wingers? McMullan has been atrocious for months now. Shouldn't be starting and should have been pulled tonight. Worst I've seen him. Hardly got past his man all night and when he did, couldn't cross the ball. Same could be said of Duffy. A shadow of what he used to be.

McMullan and Duffy on the wings were very effective last season.

But when Kelly arrived he was given the right wing role and McMullan was moved into the centre. So I think he's out of sorts as he's not played a run of games as a winger in a long time. Plus, Dundalk also did very well defensively and it looked like they had 2 players on both our wingers every time we got the ball out wide.

Last season was last season. They have been out of sorts this season, and it's clear to see. How PMcM has been starting every game this season is beyond me. His form is shocking.

And surely if 4 players are tasked with marking your 2 wingers, then a manager should try some other tactic to break them down?

Look, bottom line, we were awful to watch again. This is nothing new. Dundalk have been shit this season, yet were relatively untested for most of tonight. 2 pts from the 6 available this week, simply isn't title winning form.

And another draw. Crippling us for a few seasons now. Too many of them.

Duffy was great? I must have been at a different game.

Rarely got past his man.

Duffy naturally see's more of the ball than Kelly - simply because he's better and more likely to create something. He also got into a dangerous position when linking up with Doherty but he headed down into the ground and over the bar. This was a promising move but it wasn't repeated after that early chance.

Agree that he's not consistent and was in and out of the team recently. Doesn't seem to get as many goals as he used to either.
