Everyone below them are more inconsistent than them and the league standard in 2024 is brutal.

Fear of losing again. He set our expectations before the game probably realises this will be his last season.

Overall a good performance under the circumstances. Full credit to those players that battled hard tonight.

But in a must win game we come up short once again. Keeps happening.

Shels seemed content to take the point and move a step closer to the title.

We're running out of games and our lack of quality at the back has cost us again. No surprise there.

Tood and Shane are both poor and neither merit a start at this level.

Maybe we should switch to 3 at the back for the remainder of the season?

Coll my player of the season. Repeatedly dropped but always our best defender.

Game was always going to be hard after going down to 10 men, Derry defended well.

Shels didn't have a shot on target until after an hour. Some of their songs about Jeffrey Donaldson and Arlene Foster were a bit embarrassing.

I don't think Shels are capable of taking a game to a team. Derry should be capable of hammering them on the last day of season but I don't know if the league will still be alive by then.

Sending off changed it for us. Even after the sending off we were the better side for large chunks of the game. Wonder what Duff said to Higgins. Needs to have respect for fellow managers regardless. CTID

Two red cards in the last month cost us a run in Europe and probably a crack at the League. Red cards change games but we seem to lack the ability to navigate these important games without imploding. Rovers gaining ground with 2 games in hand. Thankfully they still have 3 or 4 odd European games left to play which may help us in the run in.

If we can’t beat this tripe who cares I don’t but then I’ll be told we need to win the league to get money to get into Europe to be embarrassed but we get money. For what. For what To watch crass drivel Maw let it go

Higgins thumping his chest and taking the acclaim for a point in a must win game sums us up unfortunately

No Duff tactical masterclass this time then lads…..With 10 men for 60 mins our keeper had one save to make in the whole match. If that was the other way round we would be hearing endless wank about the Duffer and his ‘tactical masterclass’. You have to admire the Shels fans for turning up in numbers to watch that negative ‘dross’ week in week out. Another idiotic sending off but that aside well played Derry. Created the better chances even with the sending off. Still all to play for. On we go……

At last... someone with a bit of sense...

People will point to the nil nil as the end result and mock it... Instead try pointing at the fact that we were away from home at the league leaders, were reduced to 10 men for over 60mins of football, had higher possession up to that point, our keeper had one save to make, yes one, and overall we had the better chances...

But, people will focus on the fact that we didnt score and were shite... naw we werent... We were the better side even with 10 men and the club and manager deserves credit for keeping it at 0-0...

Ciaran Coll has been good this season... But I'll take your Ciaran Coll and raise you Adam O'Reilly !!!

O'Reilly has easily been our player of the season. Miles clear.

Not one person said we were shite? Seriously where did you lift that from?

Everyone on here giving the players credit for a very good performance so that comment is very odd indeed.

The only negative being discussed is that we're 3 behind the leader, with Shels also having a game in hand, and were running out of games. Many fans seen last night as a must win - that's based on form of the two teams this season. If things continue Shels are likely to be 4 or 6 points ahead of us with the same games played and 2/3 of the way through the season. So its not an unreasonable discussion to have.

Maybe we should be asking why we can't finish games with 11 men still on the park?

Last night was our first red card in the league all season. You really think that's another stick we should be beating the manager with?

That's 2 reds in our last 3 games. Both costly i'm sure you'll agree?
