Shelbourne v Derry City - Match Thread

Post by Nige92 »

The game has been rescheduled for 5th August 7:45pm KO. To be televised on virgin media.

We now have a two week break where as Shels will be coming off the back of a tough two-legged tie v FC Zurich. Could our European cloud have a silver lining?

We strengthened by 1, who seems unable to play for whatever reason.

And don't forget we lost McJannett.

And, if rumours are to be believed, at least another 1 (maybe 2) could be leaving soon.

Harkin and Boyce have been linked with Cliftonville on Twitter. I heard yesterday that Harkin had signed for Coleraine. As for Boyce, Cliftonville have too many defenders.

We thought St Pats would have been fresh being without a game for 2 weeks with Kenny in control and after Derry had come through an energy draining match, playing for 75min with 10 men, would have given them a golden opportunity to get one over us. The same could happen to Derry if in the same mind set.

According to the suspension list out today Paddy Barrett & Tyreke Wilson will miss the game against us. Their suspensions were not served in the cup.
