Can anyone there confirm the formation? From the team sheet it looks like 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-1-1 with Duffy playing centrally?

Started a 4-2-2-2 from what I could tell.
Doherty
Boyce, Connolly, Todd, Ferguson
Winchester, Whyte
Duffy, Thomas
Benson, L Boyce
But in possession R Boyce is pushing into DM and we've 3 at the back and Whyte is pushing up. Thomas and Duffy staying wide.

I think you're right. Looks fairly assured on the ball and pick passes, albeit under very little pressure.

A couple of takeaways from tonight:
1) The players look fit, including those that have come in more recently
2) There's a real battle for starting minutes across most of the team.
3) Expect some high intensity counter pressing
4) RB pushing into midfield would be perfect for Dummigan
5) The left CB position is our major weak spot! Both Todd and Idehen are a liability and offer little on the ball
Overall, I've come away with that with a lot of optimism for the season. Granted we played a side far below our level but there was enough there to be intrigued about.
I'd be worried about the standard of opposition we've played and the limited test of defence has had

Tonight showed us that we need 2 centre backs to challenge with Connolly. Sam Todd as back up. The 2 other boys aren't at the standard

Enough to have filled the MF stand plus maybe 100 more
