Is the Presidents Cup classed as a league game?

When Lansdowne opened, PD was a twelve team league and I said on this forum I would love to see a Premiership Rugby Twickenham type weekend for us, hopefully this is a test of towards that approach.

I am considering going. I always wanted to witness this match in Dalymount Park but the one chance I had it was too late for a ticket. Had it been a night game it could have been more special but as I mentioned, I hope this is a success.
