Re: Jim McLaughlin
The huge huge boost to our city The wonderful away days the huge support and that sign as you were leaving Derry “ You are not entering a trophy free zone”. I’ll never forget this and the love of the team for us and the adulation we gave them It was a time of magic never will I forget him Jim Mc Laughlin RIP I hope we commemorate his passing in a big way so we all can say thanks

Re: Jim McLaughlin
The best manager in Ireland. What he did for Derry, nobody else has matched with any side.
The best time to be going to the Brandywell.
He should have a permanent honour at the stadium.
Rest in Peace Jim.

Re: Jim McLaughlin
What about calling the new stand the Jim McLaughlin stand?
Council will have to be involved in that presumably.

Great shout.
Jim delivered some of the best times this Club has been associated with. He was a legend and those times will never been repeated. He deserves recognition and that could be a stand, a statue or some other form of recognition for his contribution.

Totally. The Club and the Council must do something to permanently honour Jim McLaughlin.

At Leeds recently there were photos on the way into the stadium Larne have a great array where supporters walk Rather than a stand named why not see if we can brighten the ground with great photos of a great man and his time and of course our other great men now passed on Iwould be v v keen to contribute to costs alsomarcoloco wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2024 10:19 amGreat shout.

Like Rodgers said calling the new stand after Jim mclauglin would be a great idea. A legend of Derry and to the Loi.
