Match kicks off at 7:45pm on Friday. Stephen O'Donnell and Dundalk are rooted to the bottom of the table whilst we are three without a win. Several players injured or carrying knocks going into the game, hopefully we can get some bodies back on the pitch.

In this thread post all news, predictions and reactions. If you can't make the match it will be live on LOITV, BBC Radio Foyle and Drive 105.

I'll not go to this one and watch on LOI TV, it feels wrong to pay money when the standard of football is so low with the players Derry have.

I've heard this from quite a few people since last weeks home game.

A worrying sign for the club. A lot of casual fans won't pay big money to watch what is being served up.

Something has to change.

Dummigan and Doherty close, Hoban a major doubt

3pts required against the weakest Dundalk team for some time.

Ruaidhri has his excuses in first.

"We need to give our supporters something to cheer about".

Why is that only starting now? Did the previous 8 games not matter?

Manager speak.

1 better than I thought and ok maybe not scintillating but definitely a big improvement. Dundalk are toiling.

A good set of results all around. Need to back tonight's win up next weekend. Dundalk in big trouble!

11 games without a win, how O'Donnell is still in post is mind boggling. In saying that, who would stake their reputation by taking the post with the squad in its current form? Loanees from English reserve squads, players with no LOI experience and a lack of senior players to lead them through games. Daryl Horgan looked a shadow of his former self, Benson still has it but was reckless tonight and Mountney has had bad luck over the last two years with injury. Drogheda, Galway and Waterford at the moment look much better and more stable on and off the pitch.

Much better last night and some decent goals but Dundalk were the poorest side we have played. Great to see Dummigan back and Duffy get a goal. Kelly still struggling to have an impact and Mullen chipped in with a
real centre forward’s goal in Hoban’s absence.

Need to take care of Drogheda next week and set up the big double header in the Brandy against Shams & Pats……..sure the craic is great today……..

Good to see McJannet back at centre half. I think Mullen has a lot of qualities technically but he doesn't always seem to to show them, he did well last night.

Great goal from Patching, it feels like it's been a while since he hit a shot from open play.

One our best performances this season albeit against the league's whipping boys.

We were on it from the start which has not always the case this season. Once Benson got his yellow card, followed quickly by another foul, they found it difficult to contain us. McMullan was excellent for the first goal and overall thought McMullan, Duffy, Patching and OReily were running the show. Mullan showed some nice touches and was unlucky with his defence splitting pass to Kelly who can't seem to put a foot right. Mullan took his goal really well as did Patching. Duffy will not doubt claim the goal albeit it came via a deflection.

Thought Coll had a good game in defence and the young lad Okane? for Dundalk looked like their only goal threat.

Results were kind elsewhere so the league is starting to get competitive which is not a bad thing.

Benson should have gone for that challenge and if he hadn't been already booked he definitely have got a yellow. Poor officiating as usual.

I think the first yellow was soft so the ref probably went easy on him.

Second tackle was worse than the first!

Standard of officiating in league is shocking.
