I'd expect a good turn out after the numbers who travelled to Ballybofey.
Would printing tickets be out of the question?

Not sure how many will want to watch the same game twice?

Won't be if they are as good as they were last night.
And playing on a pitch half as big again as at Harps

Groundhog Day. Playing the same team twice in a fortnight. Expect us to batter them at home. especially if our big guns start. Most important thing is fitness and avoiding injuries. Just would be nice to play a different team.

We are also playing Cork City in Dublin on Friday afternoon, so the team will be split.

Any idea who will take charge of the Dublin team?

I don't. If it is mainly made up of U21s it could be Mark McCrystal

Another cancellation.
Our pre seasons tend to be a bit shit.
Is that 2 of 5 cancelled so far?

The Sligo game took place a couple of days later instead so not really cancelled.

Tomorrow is the 4th. pre-seaon game and there's several weeks before the league starts :o
I don't see what the problem is.

To be fair, splitting the team and the management up for these games doesn't make sense. You want your manager watching the players and if everyone can feature at the Brandywell, why pay the transport and food that goes with an unnecessary Dublin game?

Look we are all Fans Fanatics The Forum is about our fanaticism for our club. The club lives on this They want us to buy Season tickets… to get merchandise …H time draws etc . To enthuse about the team. . And we do We have our differences here but one thingv we all love our club . If we were eg M&S customers we would be highly valued ….. but friendlies ? The club seems to treat us with disdain . V little info re times etc venues etc cancellations that only drift eg to me through this Forum channel and it can be hit and miss Eg Glentoran on a wrong ? date that’s a day after a big cup, game for them as far as I see Institute Well you guess it Cotk I. Dublin on a split squad Then on off ? etc etc .
My point We want to go to support our team to get o out again after close season a barren spell for a real Fan WE want to be fans again The club to be fair over a number of years has treated us with distain over friendlies. I think they were saying “we don’t really want fans at pre season so we will give you no real info and what we give can’t really in many cases be trusted So,in my case get ready to travel but our info to you will be minimal if any
Oh if they do not want us then say so …..state that games, like Dundalk will be behind closed doors and kept secret but do not treat I us with such disrespect We are your lifeline are we not ? Maybe not nowadays ?

I wouldn't get too upset about it. The level of the teams we're playing against is semi-professional or junior level. Just kids, students and guys with other jobs. It's inevitable that games will get cancelled or moved around. Also, some of these teams are fitting us in around their calendar.

Frustrating yes indeed but understandable also that many of these fixtures are flexible. This may explain why the Club does not promote them. They are volatile and there's a good chance of last minute call offs or rescheduling.
