$h€l$ vs Derry City Match Thread

Post by TenaciousDee »

Manager was speaking to the media today and described Friday's game as a must win, and that he will be working with the same squad as the previous two. Read in the Mirror that Patching, Fats and Duffy are still a few weeks away from a return.

Match is live on LOITV, BBC Radio Foyle and Drive 105.

Feel this really is a must win game.

We already have 7 defeats at the halfway point in the season, we really need a good 2nd set of fixtures to stand any chance of holding on to 2nd spot.

You'd expect Pats to beat UCD and Bohs have games in hand too.

This will be a tough and tight game. I don't see too many chances being created on both sides. Two of the better defences in the leagues, as well as two attacks that are fairly blunt at the moment. I don't imagine it'll be much fun.

Can see this being a dull draw... Woohoo

Wouldn't surprise me at all- imagine after all the money we have spent a lot of expectations aren't high enough to beat shels. IMO this just isn't good enough

Thank god for that, he'd have given our left back a tough time

Looking forward to being told afterwards about how "we controlled the game for large periods".

Will be a tough match, but hopefully a good performance.

Sometimes I think Higgins watches a different game from the rest of us.

Like all managers they see the game differently to how we see it...

A cheeky 0-1 victory... McGonigle again ;)

That's a shocking bench.

Only 6 outfield players, and 3 of those are academy players.

Have we that many injuries?

It's the usual old stuff- all huff and puff with no end product. The manager at some stage has to become accountable- he has been here two years and the football is dire.

Should have been under pressure long before this. The most negative team in the league
