Mentioned on twitter we are in talks with Cork for Ruairi Keating.

He has had a good start to the season and is probably playing his best football in terms of goals at Cork, however I am not convinced he is the player we need. Having watched him at two other clubs before hand (granted one was a poor Galway team) he never seemed to be a threatening player. Until this season that is. We do need a goalscorer, but more so we need someone who can hold the ball up and bring others into the attack.

Freddie Draper has been very impressive with Drogs so far this season. That would be an exciting signing.

Maguire would still be very capable in this league.
