Bohemians v Derry City Match Thread

Post by TenaciousDee »

On to Dalymount Park, a venue that City has had great success in over the years. Unsure if the link for tickets is up for away fans yet but the home section has only 50 tickets remaining.

If rumours are to be believed Connolly and Dummigan are expected to be available for selection for this fixture. Harkin, Fats and Whelan remain out long term but Jackie's rehab seems to be going well.

As ever the Match will be live on LOITV, BBC Radio Foyle and Drive 105.

Hopefulyl we are able to get a bigger support to this game than we took to Drogheda. Would be great to have a bit of atmosphere at a game.

Looking forward to this one and if connolly and Dummigan are back it will give the team a big lift.

Will be great to have Cameron back, he was a big loss.

Connolly too, although credit to the guys at the back, we've been solid in his absence.

Fluid front 3 maybe?
Has to try something different, our strikers aren't exactly banging them in.

Great result but we made hard bloody work of it. Need a striker who can finish the chances we create.

When we go up one up we seem to stop attacking. Thought Duffy, mcjannet, mceleney and patching were very good and Graydon was decent at times. Too many times we pass backwards and sideways instead of going forward. Anyway good three points ,let's build on it on Monday against Dundalk.

Good win tonight. Why o why do we never go for the kill? One shot on target against a team playing with 10 men for most of the match. Shows u the trust Higgins has in both Cian Kavanagh and McGonigle these days playing a midfielder up front.

Totally bossed 1st half, fully expected us to come out 2nd half and finish them off easily enough.

How wrong I was.

If seeing Brandon Kavanagh, who hasn’t had a look in this year, coming in to replace O’Neill in his position doesn’t give him the kick up the arse he needs then nothing will. He needs to get his head down and work harder cause we will need his goals. Otherwise ship him out in the window and take the hit.
