Saying it most weeks now, but could be doing with the 3pts.

Cork have been poor this season so far. We should win.

Tough place to go for Derry over the years. Will just take a result.

Hopefully see Duffy start and maybe Whelan come on at some point tonight.

C. Kavanagh has to start to start tonight.

They are a funny team. Have enjoyed some great results thus far but as we see with most teams, they struggle with the step up from the First Div.

1-0 up but that's an absolutely horrendous performance. Can't put a string of passes together. Can't move midfield at all. Bring Patching on for sideways Diallo

Great to see Whelan score - he did really well in getting graydon away in the build up to the goal. We've been missing a natural goal scorer all season.

Maher pulled off a few good saves too.

Needed the win and performance tonight with Pat's and rovers up next

We were poor in the 1st half, but a lot better in the 2nd.

Midfield still lacking punch and attacking mindset. Diallo is killing the momentum every time he gets the ball, and Patching would be no better. We need Fats in there, and playing further up. Or McEneff.

Whelan looked sharp when he came on, great to see him score in his debut.

But make no mistake, that's a terrible Cork team.

At times this season I would have said he was poor but tonight he dictated play in Midfield. He pounced on every second ball and tried to get things going. Admittedly, Fats is the man we need in that position but Diallo did well tonight.

Dave Barry on Foyle was considered Diallo for M.O.M before giving it to Maher(?)

Surely Duffy was with goal and assist?

Match sparked a bit after the O'Reilly yellow.

Whelan did well for his goal. Duffy scored one and set up one. Two good saves by Maher. Second half was better than first.

When the other midfielders come back like McEleney and Dummigan, I wouldn't start O'Neill.

Great three points and the away record continues. Next two games at home though.
