Graydon moving to Fleetwood after an improved offer

Thought he was starting to look sharper in recent games

Reported as six figure, so somewhere between 100k and 999k.

Would be good business for us if it's a six-figure sum.

A sell-on clause is almost as important as the fee itseslf.

With Sam Todd signing it gives us great strength in depth. I think we are missed a RW (If we lose Graydon) and Striker to have competition across the team. We have 22 fit potential starters, excluding 3 long term injuries and 3-4 u21's we have utilised.

GK
Maher
Ryan

RB
Boyce
Dummigan

CB
Connolly
S McEleney
McJannet
Todd

ACMF

B Kavanagh

Wingers

Mullen
C Kavanagh (Still young but not up to the standard yet, a loan would do no harm)

In a swap, I would rather have Jamie McGonigle over Jay Donnelly.

In an ideal world for all parties we sell him. With the fee and what we got for Graydon, buy Max Mata from Sligo. Unless we have a replacement lined up he won't be sold and rightly so.

This. Struggle to believe we are interested in Donnelly. If any IL striker we are looking at, it should be Curran, but that won't happen either.

I have seen a lot of Glentoran in pre-season games as I live in Belfast - Junior has been their best player by a mile and has scored in every game, including Europe last week. He looks very fit and very sharp.

If we sell McGonigle to them, why not take Junior in return, at least until the end of the season anyway.

His first touch is very good and I think he would be a better bet than Mullen one Cain Kavanagh.
