Just happened to be browsing through the Sky Bet goalscoring market for Friday night and noticed that they have Ollie Oneill down in the odds.

Has he officially been confirmed as of yet? Do they know something we dont know?

Well we all kinda knew we weren't going to be seeing Whelan again this season, although the manager has said its a different type of injury so maybe not a full ACL tear? Hopefully he recovers and gets back at it, he's had horrible luck.

As for Fats, also worrying. Achilles problems are notoriously hard to fix, and wouldn't be surprised if his season isn't over too. And since he is probably our 1 creative player, it's worrying for a team devoid of skill.

We've been cursed with injuries this season.

Someone put up on foot.ie that the two Kavanagh's going out on loan. I heard Cork were after Brandon. Brandon hasn't had a fair crack of the whip this season compared to others that haven't produced.

If above is true must have a few forward players already lined up for the start of the window with O'Neill and ward already left. Just hope they don't need a mini preseason and they are rarng to go.

Not many managers tell the whole truth when it comes to their transfer plans. It's obvious we need strikers.

C Kavanagh has played plenty of minutes this season given his age and in that time has shown he's not up to it at this stage of his career. A loan move could be very beneficial if its the first division. Playing for a bottom PL team would be a real slog and he'd be unlikely to get many goals or opportunities for goals.
