Maybe if you clarified how you 'haven't been able' to get to your seat, we could help...
I would guess somebody else is sitting there.

Politely ask the individual(s) to move. It's your assigned seat. You have a season ticket to prove it.

How can the club hand out a suspension when they glorified the pitch invader?

I hope that balloon who went onto the pitch in Riga (and at Finn Park a week later) is pleased with himself for costing the club a small fortune. I doubt he'll be in any hurry to offer to pay it himself

There is no excuse for grown adults to not keep off the feckin' pitch.

Unless you're invited onto the pitch.

Why would the manager and players invite a certain person on to the pitch?

Is he related to anyone at the club?

It was an expensive invite.

So is this guy now banned, or is he being held up as some sort of tortured hero?

Sounds like the players need to be reminded that they're not in charge of matchday arrangements :geek:

I'd be interested in reading those rules that say you can be invited on to the pitch.

Let me get this straight -

The players invited supporter(s) onto the pitch?

Supporter makes it onto pitch at request of players

Club gets fine and supporter a ban

Surely the players are the ones that are responsible for the rule break here and not the supporter?

If so, it's only right that the Club foot the bill if their employees instigated it.

---------------

I probably got that all wrong?

Think he was invited on to Finn Park pitch, not Riga.

Leonardo McGlinchey making a laugh about it on facebook. He is responsible for the club getting fined by UEFA for the incursion onto the pitch in Riga. He should be banned by the club.

Anyone know how much the fine is for the pitch invasion?

And how much for letting off flares?

Total was £7k?
