Another tough one this. We will have to carry the attitude, energy and atmosphere of Friday night into this game. Hope Jackie can make it, looked a sore one he took on Friday night, but good to see Fats getting more minutes and Boyce making his way back. Sounds like we may have to wait awhile yet for Duffy. Great result for Sligo at Pats but this will be 2 tough away games for them in the space of 3 days. That should be in our favour but now we are in front of SRs let’s stay there and send a real message.

Another 2-1 will do nicely for me with McGonigle scoring for the 6th game in a row.

Definitely a tough game against a side that beat St Pats on Friday there. Be great if Jackie is fit but to be fair the Rb slotted in midfield nicely against rovers, so he seems to be able to to a job in there if Jackie isn’t 100%

From what I heard about the early assessment is that Jackie isn't expected to feature this week and could be out long term. Dummigan in the middle with Boyce starting on the right could be the likely starting positions for both.

That's a shame to hear, will be a big blow for Jackie and the team. He is so important in that midfield.

If it's a serious acl injury, we might not see him again for a long time.

That's a big blow if Harkin is out. An ACL could mean he's out for 7-9 months, the whole season. A real shame. Hopefully not the case.

Thankfully Dummigan can fill in and Boyce can go to RB as mentioned.

I feel confident about this game, I don't think Sligo will go that well this season despite that good result against Pats. I reckon we'll get the 3 points here.

Who'd have thought you couldn't get a ticket to a Sligo game on a Monday night?
Let's keep the buzz going with another 3pts.
But I get the feeling they'll be hard earned.

Does anyone know if you can start a match halfway through on LOITV?

More importantly, does anyone know if the stream quality will be as rubbish as last year?

Answer to the first question is yes.

I haven't bought an LOITV match this season yet, but there have been attempts to improve the quality. However with streaming, there's never guaranteed 100% quality. The presidents Cup game looked good, multiple angles but maybe there were more resources available.

Thanks for that. Streaming was normally fine apart from the Brandywell, which was regularly abysmal.

Upload speeds are key to providing a good stream and it seems there were issues with that at the Brandy last season. Hopefully that's been sorted. I'm really looking forward to the match tonight, but praying for a good picture.

Dummigan stays at right back then. Assume Patching will be the deepest laying midfielder.
