Another point is an astro surface will never last as long as a well maintained grass pitch

Will the pitch not be council owned? Why would DCFC be allowed to rent out the pitch on on-match days in a council owned facility? Would it not be the council who stand to gain from any of the supposed financial benefit that 3g pitches bring? Or is the pitch leased out to DCFC for the full year who then hire it out to others?"We will also have a new 3G pitch which we feel is the way forward. It will be top of the range and will give us the opportunity to use the pitch on non-match days and rent it out, providing additional income.
How are we supposed to know when the board don't talk to usrodgers wrote:From the Belfast Telegraph article, Sean Barrett is quoted as saying:

Can only guess that the club has a lease on the whole set up, and then rent it out themselves.rodgers wrote:From the Belfast Telegraph article, Sean Barrett is quoted as saying:

The council own the shithole not DCFC and the council will decide what gets done and who get to use it not DCFC or the boardAndy Bernard wrote:How are we supposed to know when the board don't talk to usrodgers wrote:From the Belfast Telegraph article, Sean Barrett is quoted as saying:

Could we have a photo of a supporter, if still living, who was in the stand when first used at a Derry match..? And give him/her a lift in the dozer to start the demolition.bilco wrote:lorcan Doherty was taking pictures for individual fans who stood beside the old stand tonight probably for old times memory/sake
He may have been charging for them!!!
So it appears the bulldozers will finally be in within 2 weeks and it's farewell the glentoran stand at last!
Health and safety laws would prevent this happening, anybody know what date the stand was brought to the brandywelljohnm wrote:Could we have a photo of a supporter, if still living, who was in the stand when first used at a Derry match..?
