Shrewsbury need to replace him so it will drag on for a couple more weeks but yes I'm 99% sure he will be a Derry player by the end of the month.

TL and Larne rated Todd a lot, I'm not convinced though. Definitely need something there.
Even if Connelly & Todd were the preferred CBs you need a 3rd and maybe someone else that can cover. So I’d still expect 1 x CB and 1 x MF.
Didn't TL play 3 at the back with Larne? If that's his plan with Derry we'll need another couple of CBs at least.
