Coll could cover LB, CB and RB. Ferguson has only played on the left side so I think we lose a bit of versatility. Barely played in the 23/24 season and has been without a club since the summer, while at 33. He clearly had the talent, does he still? I’ve always rated ferguson, i think he’s a class player. I expect him to play in the middle of the park for us.

Coll left before TL etc were in post. This is a replacement. Not necessarily true. Coll spoke to TL in the days after he arrived as manager.
