And Coll forced a save outside the box in the first half
That's what you get when you listen to Dessie on the way home.

A good point, and another solid performance, I think we deserved the draw.
As for the penalty, jez what a dive. Had we been winning 1 nil with a few minutes to go, and that was given for Rovers, I would be livid. So we can't say we never get anything from refs. I just think they are bad in the league, not biased. Every team complains about them.
This is going to go to the last game.

When Graham Burke took the dive last year and converted his penalty, there wasn't this outcry.

No one likes to see cheating. Let's be clear about that. Regardless of who it benefits.
But as you say it happens often and when you throw into the mix poor and incorrect refereeing decisions, then its all fair in love and war and will remain part of the game here until VAR is introduced. On another day it could have been a card for simulation as we've seen earlier in the season.
I personally think we had 2 hand ball decisions go against us and a goal chalked off so the ref has probably made a call based on the accumulation of those decisions plus the home advantage when the roar went up.
Anyway, I think had we got a penalty for the 2nd hand ball then there would not be the same debate as the defender went to ground and stopped the ball with this arm.
Also, because this decision has gone against Rovers it gets discussed and highlighted in the national media. Had it been another team it would have been glossed over.

Solid but again doesn't offer enough going forward in my eyes. Players choosing not to pass to him or go down his side knowing that it's a weakness in attack. A dependable defender.
Thought Wisdom was very good, Kenny got nothing out of him.

Wison always looks composed.
Connelly gives 100% but his distribution is poor. Often launching it forward or giving the ball away. He should take a leaf from Wisdom's book. Try less hollywood passes and keep it short and simple. To make that easier for him he needs his midfielders and winger to come looking for the ball more often.

Ironic. That’s a form of cheating. Which is what his rant was about to start with.

Think the Refs association wanted him to be made an example of but The powers that be were probably too Afraid of Rovers.

That’s a cracker.
I thought he was using sign language as well. Maybe he’ll get another game for that.

Imagine the howls if this happened to our manager.
For once the big Dublin Teams not getting things their own way...
