Pohls was very poor when he arrived but in fairness has settled down after a shaky start and this is reflected in Rover's improved results both domestically and in Europe. Rovers would be a good move for Maher but I can't imagine he'll be given any assurances about being their No.1.
If Maher lost both his arms, legs and lost his eye sight, he’d still play 90% of games for Rovers.

Polhs is the goalkeeper equivalent of Higgins.

He would quickly become their no. 1

Shane off to Glens.

Good luck to him. He should find it easier playing in the IPL.

Not been at his best this season and his weaknesses were exposed too often.

Best of luck to Shane. A good servant over his 2 spells, but perhaps time to move on.

Neither of the 2 departures are a surprise. One has injury concerns and the other is due a change of scenery.

A player I’ve lost confidence in is Diallo. Too casual and too often not committed on enough. I think we seen his best days also and a change won’t do him any harm.

This is obviously only the beginning and the Club will end up in a downward spiral

You know this how? Obvious to anyone he's too slow to play LOI top flight any more. Why were no LOI teams interested in him?

Shane was a great servant but it was clear to see this year that his best is behind him. Just because they're local doesn't mean we've to keep them.
