Re: Pre Season 2025
There'll be an interesting decision to be made with Patton. The fella clearly has talent, he was previously on trial with Portsmouth last season I believe. He's at an age where minutes on the pitch would be most beneficial so maybe another loan rather than sitting as 4th choice behind Boyce, Hoban and Mullen. Although things may change there...

And he wasn't even listed in the starting XI or on the bench.

Did he play a 352? Who started in which positions?

Maybe McMullan will be able to cross a GAA ball.IfYouTolerateThis wrote: Mon Jan 20, 2025 9:44 amTiernan will have to bring his own balls as the GAA ones are different tooPauliAlonso wrote: Mon Jan 20, 2025 9:23 amGreat news but how does this work practically? GAA pitches are larger than soccer pitches and the markings are different. Will we get use of one of the grass pitches, and repurpose it with new chalk lines?

Re: Pre Season 2025
Looking at the photos from training yesterday, it seems like we have use of the southern-most pitch at the complex, which has no GAA markings on it. I imagine/hope we'll be allowed to convert it to our needs.barry wrote: Mon Jan 20, 2025 2:47 pmFootball pitches vary in dimensions also, I'm sure they will adapt as necessary.PauliAlonso wrote: Mon Jan 20, 2025 9:23 amGreat news but how does this work practically? Could the Owenbeg and Gaa comments be given their own post?
