If tiernan lynch lets hoban go he's of to a bad start. Joint top scorer last season in a very poor team. As for mcmullen, what did he have on Higgins. Something like 60 consecutive starts, can't pass or shoot to save his life. Work rate only gets you so far when you can't do anything else.
Would totally agree about McMullan.
Overall was generally terrible all season.
Terrible crosser of the ball, rarely beat the defender, and poor passer. But yes seemed undroppable.
Not sure what to think about Hoban. Yes he scored goals in a poor team, with little supply. His body language wasn't great, but I think he got frustrated from our style of play, which made him look worse.
I still think he has another good season left in him if he is supplied properly.
Wouldn't loose to much sleep over those who left hope 2 more to follow Getting OReilley signed big bonus get Magher on board and three more signing I think we will be back in business big time.
Patching decision expected this week. I know he's not the most popular player but as one of our most talented players I think it'd be a good resigning. Lynch may be able to get more out of him.
Seems according to the article that Lynch wants him to stay. I don't think anyone has ever disputed Patching's ability it's his inability to produce it on a regular basis, if he stays then lets hope Lynch can unlock his talent that he clearly has but I think one thing is for sure Lynch won't be standing for him just letting games pass him by.
Also an interesting point from the article is that Derry City are currently looking for a temporary training base to call their own & report to every morning. I'd assume for the length of time the club needs it whilst they search for new land to build their permanent base. It looks like Lynch means business on & off the pitch

I think the complex is a great shout that wasteland to the right hand side of the Meadows? I think this is something the club are looking at
I'm hearing Big Phil w on site there recently accompanied by 3 guys in suits.

Its probably the most obvious of spots. I wouldn't have thought the wasteland beside the Meadows would be big enough for what Sean Barrett is describing I would've thought the land further down near Woodbrook on the pitch that was known as The Bara would be more spacious

This exactly wete Phil and Co where.
Its a no-brainer. A great location for the City and the Donegal catchment.
Great accessibility and lots of land awaiting development.
SB has suggested a stadium down that way but a training hub looking a bitter fit. Not too many sites that this remaining that ticks so many boxes.
