And Boyce isn't injured either so take from that what you want with Coll playing right back the other night.

If only a journalist would ask the manager why they haven't been in recent squads.

Well maybe if the progress of injured players wasn't some sort of state secret, the rumours wouldn't spread.

Other clubs have no issue telling fans about injuries, expected return dates etc. But not us for some reason.

It would be a travesty if Boyce and Jackie are sold to Cliftonville and Coleraine respectively; especially if the manager leaves at the end of the season.

This is what I am hearing from reliable sources within both clubs.

Boyce is one of the best right backs in the league and also a constant goal threat.

Surely, the club needs to update us fully as to what is going in.

But as Keyser says, i detect a lot of the media are in the clubs pocket and don't ask any difficult questions. Putting up a podcast with Boyce last week, when it was recorded 5 week ago is a strange thing to do.

Why not fully update us fans and also update us on the new stand issue. There has been zero update from the club in 8 months now.

Wrong again Joe. It was an interview that featured on a programme that was uploaded because people missed it and asked for it. Context is king.

When I read that Boyce was going to be on the pre match show, I too was intrigued, as I also assumed it was a recent interview about why he lost the right back slot.

Why not Dee bring him back in for a new interview so that we can get the full current version of events ?

The fact is, it was very misleading to a number of fans

This is what I mean by context is king. When the interview went out on air it was introduced as Gareth had a conversation with him a few weeks ago and he asked him blah blah blah. Once the interview played out the first question asked was what tactical reason would you have for leaving a fit Ronan Boyce out, and that started the conversation.

No-one was misled because as you know I listed the date he was interviewed online after I was asked to upload it. It is also in a playlist called ICYMI (In Case You Missed It) which is a hint that it wasn't live. People who did not read the synopsis or listen to the programme live misled themselves (guessing you fall into at least one of these), were as the station was open and transparent.

As for "why didn't you interview him again", first of all, he needs to be put forward by the PRO, you can't just walk up to a club employee and interview them on the street. This is the same at all clubs before anyone starts but at other clubs (Rovers, Dundalk and Pat's) it is a lot more strict. Second, his answers would have been the exact same other than he may have mentioned he was injured, which we did.

I don't think the European embarrassment would have helped us especially with UK based players. And with no financial boost from Europe we'll struggle to compete for half decent players at home.

That leaves us with the current pool of players and some obvious gaps in the squad.

And then it's a domino effect, no big money from Europe, not able to strengthen which may ultimately cost us the league.

And what is wrong with pointing out the truth. If we won in Europe we'd have more money coming in the door and a bigger player budget- it's not rocket science.

So going out to a team like Magpies (which is an embarrassment) has cost us getting in an extra player or two in the door which would've increased our chances of catching shels.

Mcjannett left a month ago so you would have thought he'd be replaced whilst Boyce has been bombed out.

I'm still waiting on your synopsis of our defeat to Bruno's Bar. Or maybe I missed that one?

Nothing that was said above is fiction. Its all factual... or maybe you disagree and still think we're great?

Please don't tell me your in the "oh, but look who our owner is, results don't matter anymore as we can afford anyone we want" camp?

I'd love to hear all about it.
