Appologised for the display in Gibraltar and how people had paid good money to go out there and then be served up the shit that was delivered... and that was on record too but no one mentions it because its easier to cast a dark cloud than speak the truth...

All I'm saying is that I saw a different side to him after that game... A side that cares about the team and how they perform... A side that few see...
I've never once questioned the manager's desire, commitment or belief in the squad. I don't know him personally not that that would make any difference. I not aware of anyone that dislikes the manager on a personal level. Maybe that's discussed elsewhere but certainly not on here. My gripes have always been, and will always be, on footballing grounds. Team selections, transfer dealings, formations, style of play and results. And nothing else. That's what we discuss on here. Some agree some don't...

Sounds like a Manager under pressure.

Sounds like this is a fans forum where fans can express an opinion.

As a supporter of a football club an individual doesn't have to have blind loyalty to its manager. In an interview with the Journal after the St Pat's cup game, in which he had a dig at the 'critics', the manager is quoted as saying - referring to Sunday's team performance: "They've shown today when we play with speed, attack with speed what we're capable of." Surely "play with speed, attack with speed" is what the 'critics' have been asking for? So, having hit upon a selection which did that it'll be interesting to see what our line up and style of play will be against Shelbourne.

And to say he loved sticking " a middle finger" up at his critics shows a lack of class.

This.

Found it strange that the manager revelled in how we played, when that's how everyone has wanted the team to play all season.

When we are capable of performances like last Sunday, why do we play so slow, sideways and backwards the majority of the time then?

The manager dictates how the team plays, does he not?
