Well well well I don’t quite understand playing 10 v 12 with substitutions but Kelly did great for ROVERS 3RD GOAL but even without the highly paid technical idiots we see the problems when Shane and Connolly can’t handle the same pass that has brought goals all year
AH well Higgs goodbye Please go NOW FOOTBALL IS 90 M9NS NOW
ANY BODY KNOW WHAT COLL DID TO GET DROPPED AGAIN

Once again we play some nice stuff in the first half and not turn up in the second. The goals we conceded were shocking. Kelly losing possession for the third was laughable.

4 wins in 11 won't get Europe never mind challenging for the league. Really disappointing start to the season.

Think Higgins going is inevitable just a matter of time. Hopefully the season is still alive.

Terrible on and off the pitch (as I was their support having to be escorted, via the centre circle, live on RTE!!)

We are joke and anybody who thinks we could win a league with Higgins in charge should take their heads out of the sand.

Time for a change of manager- with the budget Derry have we should be a lot lot better than we are.

I thought the first half was very good and enjoyable. But the second half wasn't even a contest after the first goal went in.

Feels like Greene has scored that type of goal at the Brandywell about ten times now.

I thought that was an entertaining game for the first 50 minutes. We had some decent efforts on goal and on another day, we could have gone ahead. Rovers were always a threat though, a number of times they got in behind. Our lack of pace from Connolly and Shane has been shown up yet again.

In fairness to Higgins, I thought it was a fairly positive attempt to go and we the game. Unfortunately the result didn't go our way. Beat by the better team. Rovers players are just superior.

At least we got a bit of excitement...

Aye right. We should all keep quiet and watch the same shite served up all the time. So your happy with 2 wins from 8 and 5 points out of 18.

At full time Green said his manager outlined the gaps in Derrys defence so they exploited them
We see these gaps now every game and goals resulting
This 3 at the back is suicide football We have had the best 7 defenders in this league over the last few seasons now Tinkerbell has dismantled it
We see injured players not recover. Are they injured in training again
Substitutions are a shambles
The club is. Become an embarrassment I just think Higgins cannot coach
StewartS. joke Missiles. and wall climbers at it ALL night even at 7 30 What did you do In full view of all of Ireland BUT allow a 7 yer old child old to lift a flare risky as that is rum half the pitch with it alight in his hands then witness wall climbers and missiles rain in over a wall .
Some weeks ago I was abused by a Stewart for attempting to use an empty toilet and buy a cuppa from an empty tea wagon although no one was there But im an oldie easy to intimidate. Joke joke joke if it wasn’t so pathetically for the club we on National Tv too

Again only played for 50 minutes. We were good in the first half but not taking chances in 1st half crucial.

Higgins is on borrowed time with his budget,! 1 win in 6, 2 consecutive home defeats. It's a results business.

Off the field, rumour has it we got rid of Pulae and reaped the rewards. If true the Person(s) who made that decision should be sacked. Compromising suppprter safety. We have a serious scum element

I cannot forget putting 4 past the hated Shelbourne and bringing the cup home. My memory may be longer than other people's but I consider that a blessing and not a curse

Can't defend. Silly mistakes time and time again game after game after game. Dubious team selections and substitutions. Worrying knack for signing injury prone players and getting rid of players in their prime. Tactics are defensive regardless of the opposition - home or away. Have I left anything out?

Good man, you keep living in the past then, let the rest of us get on with our current problems.

Do you sit at home and watch YouTube highlights of that cup final and think "aren't we great".

As for tonight, well I actually think 1st half it was the best we have played all season. Needed to take one of our chances, although Rovers should have had a goal too, so a draw at half time was fair.

Second half, they simply showed how far ahead of us they are. They have better players, better tactics, better togetherness. They are a proper team who destroyed us. Some will point to our injuries but tonight they had no Jack Byrne, no Neil Farrugia, no Aaron McEneff, no Lee Grace and no Seán Hoare. And didnt start Rory Gaffney, Trevor Clarke, Sean Kavanagh or Johnny Kenny. Who out of our injured players could possibly have made any difference to that result? Dummigan maybe but dont think Fats, Diallo, Jackie would have. It was a hard watch but they will easily win the league again this season. We are now in a fight to try to get into Europe, I think that's the best we can hope for.

As for our limitations, well anyone who has read my posts will know where I stand. We are going backwards. The manager is failing. I don't care what he says now before and after games, refuse to listen to him, it's all manager speak nonsense. Mumbo jumbo.

And our squad, well, it's full of crocks. So many spend so much time out. I mean Fats has been stealing a living at derry since he arrived from Dundalk. How many games has he played, how many has he influenced, how many great games has he had? Could count them on a couple of fingers.

But don't want to just pick on him. There are others too. Duffy is overrated, and bar the very odd occasion, isn't a matchwinner any more.

Patching has supposedly been made a better player by Higgins, according to a poster on here. He's a luxury player who rarely seems to try. Was found out tonight against proper players.

Many others are going backwards too. Conolly and big Shane look poor this season. Very slow. Boyce is hot and cold. Daniel Kelly, I just feel sorry for him. He can do nothing right, can't catch a break.

Mullan put in a shift tonight and seems to be improving this season. Hoban must be wondering what he has joined.

And as for the off field stuff, there are serious issues that need addressed. Another flare, another fine. I met a few Rovers fans at halftime, and they didn't seem to bring any of their own scum tonight, it was mostly middle aged guys with their young sons. But for them to have to go to the centre circle to avoid missiles after the game is embarrassing. To hear police sirens on Drive 105 coverage is embarrassing. But our little hoods will be delighted of course.

The club is at a crossroads right now, with stadium development and a massive budget. We can't go on like this. 5pts from last 18 is shocking. Last 14 games against Rovers we have won 3, one of them the Presidents Cup. Just not good enough.

And as for the fans singing about Stephen Kenny, just pitiful .

Bad night all round. Down to 4th. I think lose Monday night, should be the final nail in the coffin.

Last night was equally deeply disappointing, depressing and revealing on a number of levels. Not going to try to defend the second half performance. Dark clouds are gathering.
