Benson should have gone for that challenge and if he hadn't been already booked he definitely have got a yellow. Poor officiating as usual.
I think the first yellow was soft so the ref probably went easy on him.

Second tackle was worse than the first!
Standard of officiating in league is shocking.
Having referees that out of shape is embarrassing for the league. A big contributing factor to the poor standard from officials.

You're some crack. They made us look decent but we played well also.

Dundalk are bottom of the league.

The only team not to win a game having played 8 games.

Lost 5, Drawn 3

-12 GD (7 goals worse off than the team 2nd bottom).

Think they conceded 5 v Sligo...

Despite what some are saying about the build of the referee... he had a decent game nonetheless bar the 2nd tackle by Benson which was as someone has already mentioned, worst that the first...

Any other strange decisions ? I cant remember too many outside of that and the game wasnt start stop because of him...

He was in the Park Bar after the game, which was the best choice he made all night.

Other than the benson foul, thought he had a good enough game compared to few other refs.

The 2 fouls did not amount to a red so I think he got it right

O'Donnell 'relived' of his duties.

Personally, I think he would be a strong candidate to take over from Higgins should we decide to part ways at the end of the season. He put in good work at St Pats, winning a Cup with them. He did a fine job at a weakened Dundalk last season only to have the team gutted this season. I feel that with better players, he would produce better results and a more 'exciting' style of play.

They hit rock bottom v us.

Sacked their manager today…

We were lucky to get them when we did.
