Looks like Aaron is on his way back to Ireland with Shamrock Rovers favourites to sign him. Should we go in for him?

Based on talent alone, we absolutely should. However, we are overloaded with midfielders at the minute.

If he goes to Shams then I make them clear favourites to win the title again as they'll have a very talented midfield that I don't think we can match.

This is why we shouldn't. Had we not re-signed Diallo my opinion would be different but we already have three players that want to play that sitting midfielder role that Aaron likes to play.

Think we need a bigger squad to compete properly with Rovers surely McEneff would be worth a punt especially to keep him away from Rovers.
