3pm KO this Sunday. Both teams coming off the back of consecutive defeats will look to pull the nose up.
Post all match predictions, line-ups, pre-match news and post-match reactions.
Match is live on LOITV, BBC Radio Foyle and Drive 105.
*EDIT* Please note that a planned minutes applause will take place on the 24th minute in memory of Sean Rooney.

Re: Dundalk v Derry City Match Thread
We need a win (said that the last two matches as well) and Dundalk aren't playing well. Depends on the tactics and team Higgins puts out- I would start the two Kavanagh's as we need something different than what we've had the past month.

Goal rate pretty low - 1 in last 5.

Duffy and Whelan on the bench. Doherty pushed further forward. Patching on the bench

Re: Dundalk v Derry City Match Thread
Easily the worst Dundalk team in a decade or more.
Draw was probably a fair result. Their substitutions in the 2nd half brought them to life.
Too many draws. Simply not clinical enough when in control of games.
On a plus point, good to see Duffy back. And with Whelan also not far away, hopefully we will see a change in our fortunes.

Re: Dundalk v Derry City Match Thread
The reality is we are nowhere near good enough at the minute as that Dundalk team are more than beatable. Connolly, Duffy and Dummigan will certainly strengthen us but the two main problems I see is McGonigle has offered nothing since signing his new contract last year and we are missing a top attacking central midfielder.
Edit- the third issue as pointed out by Brandyball is the managers tactics
