Supposed to be a trialist on for Derry today is what I heard- didn't hear a name. Could be doing with a few players as still pretty light.

Anyway if last year's friendly is anything to go by should be a decent crowd over.

Diallo's goal what a strike that was.

It's gonna be a long hard season for Harps if that performance is anything to go by.

Very comfortable for us today, particularly the second half. Harps seemed to consist largely of triallists at times, so I wouldn't read much into their performance.

A couple of good goals - especially Diallo's, which he hit sweetly. Harps nearly scored from inside the centre circle, after Maher got caught trying to dribble the ball around an opposiiton player about 30+ yards up the pitch. The Harps player smacked it and hit the crossbar. Maher is supremely confident with the ball at his feet and loves to do it, but I've always thought it would only be a matter of time until he got caught out for it. Hopefully the near miss today has taught him to be a bit more cautious (though he was still doing it shortly afterwards).

A good crowd today, and sets the team up nicely for Alicante. That President's Cup fixture can't come round quick enough.

I see Barry McN has officially broken his ties with Harps. Is that him retired or looking at other options?

Alicante? Are they off on a cold weather training camp? It's baltic there atm.
