That's terrible news for him. He'll be a big lose for us too.

Wish him a speedy recovery.

FFS! Feel sorry for the lad. Can expect him to be out for 4-6 months, possibly longer. Could be the season done.

We've done well so far without him but his injury, coupled with Harkins, has an impact on depth. Not having him available going forward puts a ceiling on what we might be able to achieve.

If it wasn't for bad luck, we'd have no luck.

I think you need to assume that's his season gone (or most of it).

If so, I wonder will we look to bring in a short term replacement.

To lose Harkin and Duffy is rotten luck. To lose them so early in the season is even worse.

Both injuries happened on THAT pitch too...

Dig it up and lay down grass...

I'm not saying it would'nt have happened on grass but theres more give on a natural surface...

Possibly but I think it's just rotten luck.

He's been at Dundalk for the past few years and they've a similar playing surface. He's probably pumped up at playing in front of his home crowd too. Maybe a number of factors contributing to it?

There was only one contributory factor to Michael's injury last night and that was a disgraceful challenge, no where near the ball, which should have resulted in an immediate red card.

So unfortunate with injuries to several key players. This has weakened us considerably. I wonder if Ruairi will try and get a few replacements as an awful lot has been invested in achieving success this season.

He was sent a list of foreign players at Russian and Ukraine teams and said he would take a look.
