Still plenty in the tank. He's been superb for Aberdeen, be a terrific signing for us.

Would command a decent wage no doubt to attract him back here for a year or 2. Potentially the uptake of a coaching role could entice him once he is finished.
Would definetely offer us alot of experience. Still would have thought a few clubs around scotland would be looking for his services though.
A model pro and with years of top quality experience. Surely if we can bring him back it would be fantastic.

In fairness to him he has been pretty spot on most of the time.PauliAlonso wrote: ↑Fri Jan 07, 2022 12:38 pm If that Twitter knob tells you the sky is blue, look out the window and check first.
McGinn has hardly played this season, mostly made sub appearances. I think he can still cut it at LoI level. Would take him on a 1 year deal as we need a right winger. Age obviously a concern but worth it for a year.

But it's also the LOI - you don't need to be Fabrizio Romano to know that Robbie Benson and John Mountney would go back to Dundalk. He's had to put his account on private because he tried to act Billy Big Balls once with Tony O'Donoghue and got absolutely roasted for it. I wouldn't listen to a word. There's better out there from LOI journos and the like.Nige92 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 07, 2022 2:41 pmIn fairness to him he has been pretty spot on most of the time.PauliAlonso wrote: ↑Fri Jan 07, 2022 12:38 pm If that Twitter knob tells you the sky is blue, look out the window and check first.

Back to McGinn. 35 in the summer, but could definitely cut another season in the LOI. Longer term though, he's already coaching some of the youth at Aberdeen and he'd probably progress better if he stayed there than return here.
