They were already favourites for the league next season but this move cements them in that position in my opinion.

It will be great for him and the league, in general, to prove himself for one maybe two years at Rovers then get a proper big move to Derry.

To be fair, he didn't set the world alight at any club other than at Rovers. He definitely looked a class above LoI players when I've seen him in the flesh.
I'd agree that he is a great signing for Rovers. Might be back so they can sell Mandroiu?
