Hery won't get match fitness playing 20 minutes every game. Time for him to start and dictate games.
In fairness to the young fella he has been playing well so to put him on the bench would probably have been unfair. However, we need someone that can get their foot on the ball and work it through midfield in the 2nd half.

I thought McLaughlin was excellent v Drogheda but struggled a little v Dundalk. I think he's a great prospect but he's not a starter for me over Hery who has talent and experience to be able to dictate the play with the ball on the ground. I just like to see Hery start in these big games and bring on McLauglin as the sub rather than the other way around.

Would be happy enough if it stays that way too.

Delighted. Digging out results when not having things our own way. Incredible.

Superb. We unfortunately fielded 3vplayers whose skill level in vital areas is v low but play a good game but just lack what eg Boyce has got Ie know how how to kill off a team round the box. These three are just average but we seem to have no one except Hery to come in but what a change this team has proDUCED

That was a smash and grab!!

Great result but an awful performance. Possibly the worst since Higgins came in? Sligo were better team for the vast majority of the game and had chances to win in, they'll be cursing themselves.

I picked McLaughlin out in the first half which was probably unfair of me as the whole team were so poor. It improved slightly in the 2nd half but too many times the ball was knocked long, the forwards would lose it and it'd come back at us. For large periods we couldn't string passes together, or chose to get rid of it.

For me, I think that stems, at least in part, from the loss of Akintunde up front. Tonight we missed his hold up play and energy in defending from the front. Junior and Jamie are talented but their strengths don't lay in holding off defenders and bringing other players into play. With the ball not sticking up top we couldn't get up the pitch and couldn't get any control.

A win is a win but that was hard to watch and as someone said, infuriating at times.

Didn't watch but listened to Radio Foyle. Liam Coyle basically said we were mostly the better team.

We must have been watching different games  I'm not sure how he could come to that conclusion. First 10 minutes and maybe the last 10 when Sligo ran out of steam but they created more opportunities and forced us to play poorly. Just my opinion
