Re: Fixture Change
Unless they had a pre-contract agreement id be staggered if he returned. Dundalk will pick up E850k from Europe alone and that's before they kick another ball. We can't compete with that at the minute.

Plus with Fats leaving they'll probably guarantee him more game time.

Re: Fixture Change
The initial post contains a pasted paragraph from a Press Release distributed by the FAI on the date of the original post to inform recipients that both games would be moved to that date and time. Dundalk's "home" leg v Vitesse is on the Thursday, unless both clubs are going to re-arrange the match to a later date has not been announced. One thing is for definite, it will not take place on the 13th.

Re: Derry City v Dundalk Match Thread
A win against Dundalk in the Brandywell is long overdue. A win on Sunday could change the temperature of our season. What we know for sure though is that if it doesn’t happen this time as an undertone said ‘it’s goinna happen’………..

Is the attendance the same as the Drogheda game? 1.1K?

Re: Derry City v Dundalk Match Thread
Last weeks results for both Derry and Dundalk plus the nature of our performance surely sets this up as a massive fixture. We would have pulled in a massive crowd without any restrictions.DeeDerry1975 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 1:04 pmAs far as I know yes, I've been told tickets on general sale are selling quicker for this than they did for the Drogheda game.
I suspect Junior is not allowed to play against Dundalk this weekend?
