City entertain Institute in the annual Billy Kee Memorial cup on Friday 23rd March at Brandywell.

It's for charity, I think, so a dip in the pocket. Would be good to see what youngsters are progressing, on both sides, and a lot of them are local. Paddy McLaughlin doing a good job there.

Never been a great fan of international friendlies personally.

Plus the Turkey game will be over before Harps kicks off at 8pm.

May make sense as I heard it was cost of venue that cancelled it. Guessing Council have a different fee for pitch and for full stadium

Anyone know score from tonights behind closed doors derry v institute match?

Even more important whats the fake is going on with council looking £1000 for a charity match. This really needs sorted before we become a laughing stock throughout the island again. Absolute disgrace imo.

figures quoted too me were 1500 pounds per game & 90 pounds training session.

Whats the story here? Match postponed.... To be rearranged for mid april.... Then secretly ( derry style) goes ahead on original date without supporters. Derry City Council must be really proud of themselves.

Council will be under pressure to produce a financial return from pitch. If figures are correct, can't see many friendlies etc being played here. How will Foyle Cup be treated?
