The linesman definitely noticed the problem with the netting during the warm up, as did the Limerick goalkeeper.

I couldn't believe the officials then waited until kick off before getting it sorted.

Why didn't the Groundsman not notice this after the warm up & before the kickoff surely he should have been checking this ?

Surely it's part of the referees job. I would have thought they would have performed all their checks one hour before kick-off!

But it's the the Groundsman job to make sure the rigging is secure and all debris (such as water bottles) are off the pitch after the warm up's when the teams leave the pitch before the match starts
