I called at the DC office on 5th January and paid to renew my season ticket. In previous years once you paid up you were handed your new ticket. Not anymore. I was told these have to be sent to Tullamore in Co Offaly to be printed as no company locally can do it. Advised to call back at end of following week to collect it. Called at office on Saturday 13th but no ticket and was told to give it another week. Back again on Friday 19th but still no ticket as office in Tullamore had to close for a few days because of a storm. Waited until 26th but again no ticket as Tullamore office closed again for a few days during the week and no date of when I’m likely to get my ticket. However I was reassured that I definitely would have it for the start of the season. From being told initially three weeks ago that I would get my ticket in less than a week to be told it will be sometime. I want to make other proposed purchasers aware that the nearer you wait until the season starts the problem you may have in getting your ticket on time providing the Tullamore office is able to keep open all the time. Does anyone know why these tickets can’t be printed locally?

I remain relaxed re. mine in the knowledge that my receipt of payment would gain me access to stadium if necessary. Sure we mightn't have a home match until March!

Season tickets look the part this year... I m waiting on mine as well but whats the big deal ..... season still a month away .... I m sure you will have your ticket on time as I am sure I will .
I'd be more worried about when you can start using it ..... though the workmen looked to be flat out working on brandywell today .
As for printing locally .... for a lot of the more specialist tickets with security ..I have always had to buy from England as not available locally ... But the company that I used had a very quick turn around .
Good news is ticket season sales are up .....massively.

Has anyone got a free season ticket(no guaranteed seat) yet for under 12 for Southend Park stand?

Taken from Club website:
Child: Under 12 – £80 for a seated season ticket or Free but you are not guaranteed the same seat each week it will be whatever seats are available

I was under the impression that you would still receive an actual 'season ticket' that you can give to a child, but Club Shop were not sure and advised me to contact Orlaith.

Anyone else on here know the official line on this as Orlaith hasn't replied to my e-mail.

The shop in rathmor has extended its hours this week for this very reason. You should be able to purchase your season ticket tomorrow at 130pm.

Does anyone know how the Club are going to monitor the free under 12s into Southend Park Stand?

If stand holds 2,300 or so, are they only going to sell maximum number of tickets like 2,000 or so which allows for a few hundred under 12s?

You’ll get a paper ticket for any games if the card isnt ready. Who cares if you have the card or not, no one who has paid up will be refused entry.

It was reported at 700 last week. Maybe confirmation of the Dundalk game happening at the Brandy persuaded a few more to commit to buying one. But 900 would be a fantastic number if true. Maybe they need to do a big push to see if they can reach 1,000 over the next few years. It'll take more European football but not impossible and would show steady growth. Also, better marketing around Christmas time by the club could secure more sales.

ps Does a season ticket get you a discount on club merchandise?
