The NDLS who deal with licences down the south issued a notice that if brexit happens on 31st October then UK licence holders who are resident in Ireland must get a new one to drive in Ireland as their UK ones will no longer be valid. I presume by the ad that residents in Norn Ire are not counted as living in Ireland but will not need to get new wans.

What is your thoughts on it?

I think they are talking about residents of RoI only.

I would guess a lot of people who live in 'the south' still have UK licences. I know a couple myself.
These folk will have to change over and get an Irish licence I'd think.
