Well done James with a bit of luck you would also could have gotten 2 goals against Georgia. I'm sure all of Derry is proud of you.

Just read what he said about Kenny Shields. Words fail me about this outrageous outburst. How has a comedian taken us so high in the league. The yumphla does himself no favours with all these crazy things he says which is sad as he does well on the pitch. He's been at the games to see how well Kenny has done for the club

it's debatable whether or not he does himself any favours or not but i'm not sure that what he said or says is crazy. you might argue that kenny's statement about a pint of guinness is closer to crazy than anything james said

Kenny Shiels, like an awful lot of football fans, don't care much for international football any more.

He's entitled to his opinion, as is James, but I don't think its worthy of so much media coverage.

What a fantastic result and performance! James has quickly became undroppable (is that even a proper word?) At international level and long may it continue!! Get in you absolute star!!

From watching him play against the likes of Monaghan to seeing him score winners away in difficult world cup qualifiers, im sure it gives everybody on here as big a buzz as it gives me to see him doing so well! Legend!!!

One thing about James is, it doesn't matter who he's playing against should it be Monaghan or Brazil, he'll give his best. Great to see a Derry City player do so well. Very proud of him.

Indeed.

And refreshing to see how willing he is to look after charities and the needy.

James is set to captain Ireland on the occasion of his 50th cap against Mexico this Friday!

What an absolutely fantastic achievement. I would love for him to be able to add a few more in russia next summer! C:
