Poppy weekend... cue the boo's etc for James...

As he highlighted himself on Twitter... nice of the BBC to show the tackle he made but not focus on the coins, lighters and bottles etc that were thrown at him during the same incident...

Wonder will Huddersfield get fined for the actions of their supporters... ?

Will face disciplinary proceedings after failing to report at West Bromwich training camp. Stoke remain in talks to sign him but clubs wide apart in valuations. Stoke bid £4 million but West Bromwich want at least £6 million.

Just reading some of the Tweets there from Stoke 'fans', some nasty bastards following that club!

I know James can handle himself well but he shouldn't have to deal with that shite.

He has already changed some opinions with his early performances. Football fans fickle?

Will be interesting to compare the natives reactions to Matic not wearing it either, and explaining himself.

If he gets no abuse then we know it's simply an anti-Irish thing.

Matic is getting plenty of abuse too so far, but a fraction of what James is facing all the time.

Brexit and anti - Irish bigotry is massively on the rise and was always going to make things
worse this year, and he has another 2 weeks of this at least.
Constantly anto-irish propaganda for the pro-brexit lunatics are just stirring the pot
and leaving James right in the firing line.

The only benefit in Matic coming out is that others might publicly follow, and decide to
not wear in,

FIFA, UEFA and the FA are a disgrace in this whole episode, so much for banning political
symbols from football, just because you are on the winning side of a war its ok and not political,
total garbage.

Fair play James

Then again, we all know the great work he does and the money he gives to charities.

Pity some of the British neanderthals wouldn't see this. Then again, it wouldn't matter to many, so long as he refuses to wear a poppy.
