Why not, I'd pop up for a game or two.

But would some of their games not be a security issue and a chance for wee scrotes to chuck a few stones?

I think it would be good to see, when there is such a top quality facility there, it would be great if Stute could make use of it and show we are a grown up society.

I agree. Curiosity would make me go over. Hopefully Saturday 3pm kickoffs would deter some of the troublemakers

Interesting to see if they attract a few DCFC fans over to gauge the standard etc

Fair enough. I suppose there will be plenty who share your view. I look at it more from the individuals involved. Paddy McLaughlin and some of the players are good men that I know. If I was over it would be support of them and not the IFA.

Paddy has done a good job bringing them back into the Irish league top division but may have a real job on his hands to keep them there. It’s the non football supporters who will cause problems outside the ground who will have to be dealt with.

I am willing to go to matches as the team is from all parts of the town and have as much right to play there as GAA, D&D, Ulster League, SML or any other teams. I don’t think the local community will object as they have a reputation of fair mindedness to uphold and don’t want it tarnished.

We all agree that the vast majority of DerryCity fans, general population and residents of the Brandywell area are decent people and will have no issue with Institute playing at the stadium, but unfortunately it only takes a handful of wee scrotes to ruin it and get a negative story on to the national news.

Anyone go along to their game yesterday?

If so,what was the verdict in terms of crowd, quality of football and general enjoyment? Oh and was the bar open?!
